Puzzle Preschool Charitable Trust is working towards becoming a centre of excellence in early intervention for pre school children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and/or communication difficulties. To achieve our vision our core services are:

  • Operating a specialist nursery provision providing training and development for parents, families, carers and early years workers.
  • Developing a research facility so that our practices can be disseminated to a wider audience.

EARLY INTERVENTION AND AUTISM, An evening talk by Kerstin Wittemeyer from Oxford Autism Research Group, Oxford University

Thursday July 10th, 7 pm for 7.30 pm, at Puzzle Preschool, The Old School, Middle Claydon, Buckinghamshire, MK18 2ET

Kerstin will be outlining her research into the effects of an early intervention programme in France.

An Audience with John Bercow, MP for Buckingham and Head of the Bercow Review

Friday, 20th June 2008, 12.30 for 1 pm, at the Civic Centre, Aylesbury.  

This is an opportunity for you to hear first hand about progress on this important review of services.  This event is suitable for parents or professionals with an interest in the provision for children with communication needs.

The Bercow Review for children with speech, language and communication needs (led by John Bercow) launched in September 2007 is looking into the provision of services for children and young people with speech language and communication needs. The review will advise on how services can provide the best provision for early intervention and how local services can work closely together. It will report by summer 2008.
