Admissions
We cater for children aged between two and five years.
- They will usually have a diagnosis of complex language / communication difficulty and/or autistic spectrum disorder.
- Criteria for admission is based upon an assessment of the needs of the child matching the specialist provision we offer and not upon a specific diagnosis.
- Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis - using the date on which a completed application form is received.
- Local authority funding may be available for children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs. Most children who attend Puzzle have local authority funding of their place through their statement of special educational needs.
- For children who are already undergoing statutory assessment but do not yet have a final statement it is the Trustees’ intention that a free place should be available until local authority funding can be sought.
- Children may attend a minimum of two and a maximum of five sessions per week
If you would like to discuss a particular child to see whether Puzzle could be an appropriate provision please call Alex Stanyer – Director on 01296
